Geum Bi is an enthusiastic 8-year-old girl who suffers from Niemann-Pick type C disease (NPC), a unique genetic disease whose body is unable to properly metabolize cholesterol and other lipids. This condition is often referred to as "born Alzheimer's" due to the rapid mental and physical damage that accompanies it. His only father, Hwi Cheol, was a fraud. She knew the value of life while caring for Geum Bi. Geum Bi's strange mother, Jang Joo Yeong, is estranged from Hwi Cheol and disagrees with everything she does.
